Skip-a-Long opened its original location in 1970 as a not-for-profit,
community-based organization and managed its services in three
different locations prior to the construction of the Moline campus in
1990. Our Rock Island campus became part of our agency in 1983. The
Home Child Care Network was launched in 1996 and soon became the
largest home network in the state of Illinois. Construction of our
newest campus in Davenport, was completed in 2003. That same year, we
opened the Trinity Employee Child Care facility in Rock Island. Between
all of our campuses, we have more than 90 years of child care
experience.
